Halloween Treats

Let's go back a year..... I've got my hands full today, but have to share this recipe that I used last Halloween. I found it at Kara's Kitchen Creations. Mason and I made 'em, and they were delicious. I do have to be honest though, I am always looking for shortcuts when it comes to cooking. Anything I can make faster and still taste just as yummy - I'll do in a second. I don't like making big messes or cooking for hours. 30 minutes tops is all I can take. So - I figured out a shortcut for Kara's Recipe. All I bought was a box of Rice Krispies, a bag of mini-marshmallows, a can of vanilla frosting, a spray can of chocolate icing, and grabbed food coloring and butter from the pantry. So - pretty much, change all of the cookie making parts to making Rice Krispie Treats, and all of the icing making parts - to buy some at the store parts.

These don't even need directions. You can just look at them and figure it out.
One thing I did add to Kara's recipe... we put marshmallows on the sides of Frank's head too - they really made a difference. What a hit. A splendid dessert if I do say so myself.
