Thanks to Sarah, my deal finding, super shopping, fantastic cousin - and her text to notify me of an important sale - I hit it BIG at Target. Toys at 75% off. Repeat, Toys at 75% off. Not all of them, but a really valuable chunk of them. I'm not going to tell you how many toys I bought. But, I will tell you, I filled the trunk. 4 of my friends had boys in August and September. Keeping count, there are 5 little boys to buy for including Mason. I scored two gifts for each boy, one for my friends daughter for the fall. Some fun stuff for Mason for when his little brother arrives to spoil him, a few Christmas presents, and even a couple extra I don't have a clue what to do with yet. All, for between $2 and $6 each. And, $6 was high! Score. My husband thinks I am a good shopper. I don't shop often. I cut coupons. I only buy stuff that is on sale. But, I will tell you. Sarah blows my great shopping skills out of the water. Thanks to her - a two lane Slip 'N Slide, originally $19.99, came home with me for $3.98. And, provided 3 hours of entertainment non-stop for Mason in one day. Splendid. Next time. I'll post about it while it is happening, instead of being days late letting you know.

So glad that you were able to score!!! There is no high like a good shopping saving high!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Corinne,
ReplyDeleteThis is Carrie, formerly with Einstein Bros. I was searching for your contact info, but I seem to have misplaced it. Anyway, as you know, I was laid off rather abruptly in January. I just submitted an application with MFCU and I wondered if you had any tips to gain an advantage in this super competitive market?
So sorry to hijack your blog! Which, by the way, is adorable! Gotta love Target! I have 2 boys, sometimes I think it's our second home!! I hope you are doing well.
Again, sorry to bother you here, but if you have any advice for me, I would truly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Carrie
